A Little bit about myself
Hi! I am a member of Ubuntu Nepal Local community. Among other set of things I do, I consider myself am a helpful person. <shameful boasting>
Programming languages such as Python, C/C++, Java are what interests me. Unlike many friends I have, I find myself more everyday that I am instead a social fanatic [by that I mean socialising animal]!; I try to discuss and help whenever/whatever I can and learn valuable stuffs from wherever I can.
By far, I'd have to say Ubuntu is my favourite Linux distribution and things keep popping up everyday that I had never heard of before. My interests include programming paradigm, software engineering, network programming, network and computer security, OS intricacies and a good read of Slashdot and Boingboing everyday! :-P I have also worked on various bits of network and system programming interfaces in Linux using C/Python/Java. I keep my daily stuffs in my journal (see below for link). After a period of time, it feels like programming is really just a chore (unless, you get paid well at work and can afford to buy toys! and more toys
) like this little arduino and sometimes it feels like an art (I am serious
). As one of my mate, Bibek Paudel mentions, I am a "bit of everything man" who hasn't yet decided whether he's a programmer or an artist.
Personal TODOs
Sort out openID module for MM - http://moinmoin.wikiwikiweb.de/JohannesBerg/OpenID_support/client
Reason: Need to upgrade MM as this and previous builds do not work well with openid module. This is not going to happen anytime soon.
- Need to get mod_wsgi working with mm
Need to buy a [better] coffee maker for myself to stay alive - Bought one already.
Also need to get more socks as winter in Australia is approaching.
On a serious note, I hope this wiki grow into a big place for users to be able to discuss ideas, promote ubuntu-np related events, and engage in building a true, true Ubuntu Nepal community.
